The Premiere of Ballycloran Revisited
Picture this; 40 strangers from the Uk and USA all aficionados of the legendary Victorian novelist Anthony Trollope. Bussed to Drumsna and ushered into the deserted community centre. Once inside they are led into a darkened room, a room with all the windows covered in thick black plastic. Then the only exit is sealed with the same thick plastic. A short introduction by Colleen Guckian, the remaining lights are turned off, and the movie starts...

As the movie finished, the lights came back up and the cast entered the room, one by one to a standing ovation from the visitors.
And so began a visit which included hospitality in Taylor's an Duignan's Public houses, sharing of stories and experiences, a trip to the ruins of Ballyclorin and most of all establishing new friendships.
