There will be Mass on Wednesday 10th March and Friday 12th march in Drumsna at 7pm. Friday’s mass will be followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Holy Hour Duty Colleen Guckian and Mary Duignan. Mass on Sunday at 9.30am, Reader / Minister Ella Gannon. Mission Mass and Sermons in Drumsna Monday 15th, Tuesday16th, Thursday 18th at 8am. Mass on St. Patrick’s Day 9.30am.

Bingo continues in the community Centre Drumsna on Thursday nights commencing at 8.30 sharp. Last weeks big winners were Daire Guckian Foxborough, Bernie Daniels, Belmount Heights. Winners of the raffle Maureen Mc Loughlin, Belmount, Jimmy Bohan Kesh. Free Books, Margo Carley and S.Heathcote. Thanks to all our patrons for their support.
Local Celebrities.
Please support your local celebrities on this Friday night March 12th in Clarke’s Hotel Mohill. Drumsna Publican Liam Taylor and Annaduff footballer John Faughnan will take to the stage to dance in ‘’Celebrity Sean Nos dancing ‘’ A total of seventeen celebrities will perform a Sean-Nos routine on stage and will be accompanied by some young Sean-Nos experts all coached by Edwina Guckian. Your support for John and Liam is needed on the night to vote them through to the final. The night’s entertainment commences at 8pm.

Annaduff Millennium Committee will be entering a float in the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in Carrick-on-Shannon. A big community effort is needed. All who are able, adults and children are asked to come along and be part of our entry. All that is asked is that each person wears a yellow coloured top (high visibility jacket or jersey) and walk along behind the musicians. This is a once in a Millennium so let us all join together to make it a success. The Parade starts approx 12.20pm on the by pass road.
St Patrick’s Day in Drumsna.
The feast of our National Saint commences at 9.30am. In The Church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna with Mass for deceased members of The Drumsna Comhaltas. This Mass, which will be celebrated by our P.P. Father John Wall, will feature the Blessing of the Shamrock with traditional music and hymns from local artists.
After the parades in the locality the place to be is in Mc Loughlin’s Bar Drumsna where a rousing traditional night with musician Brian Mostyn and friends will take place. All singers and musicians are welcome to this lively session. Refreshments will be served and a great nights entertainment is assured.
Annaduff Community Childcare
I hope everyone is voting for Annaduff playschool in the better ireland competition. Log onto www.betterireland.ie and select Leitrim, Carrick on shannon branch, and A for Annaduff playschool. You can vote once a day for every email address you have. The playschool could win 5K, (to buy gr8 toys & stuff).
Annaduff I.C.A. held a massive and well attended sale and raffle on Sunday February 28th. All proceeds from the sale and raffle went to Haiti. More Photos
The first part of 2010 has been exceptionally cold in Drumsna, and it is good to know that our native feathered friends are being well cared for during this tough time for them.
